Wait on the Lord, Trust in the Lord, Put your hope in God; the Bible is overflowing
with exhortation upon exhortation, encouraging us to receive the revelation that
God’s time is the best.
‘In God’s Time’ encourages. To take hold of the fact that He knows all things and
has promised to supply all our need according to His riches in glory through Christ
Jesus. Regardless of what you see or don’t see concerning your hopes and desires,
know that you have a faithful Creator who has arrayed the lilies in greater garments
than Solomon! How will he not also provide for his children?
The latter part of this song highlights our frailties and dependence on God, with
a dramatic change of style, which causes one to be in a place of instant humility.
Who are we after all, to question God? We who burn toast!... Who overcook eggs!
Friends, it’s time for us to acknowledge that God’s will and His way far outweighs,
anything that we think we know.
